Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Juanita Walley, 81, of Gadsden who passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. Rev. Tommy Marshall will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Mrs. Walley loved country music and for many years composed music and traveled, with her husband's band (The L. O. Walley Band) to local venues and senior events. They shared a special love for seniors, especially those who were infirmed. . She loved Alabama Football and retired from Attalla...

Mrs. Walley loved country music and for many years composed music and traveled, with her husband's band (The L. O. Walley Band) to local venues and senior events. They shared a special love for seniors, especially those who were infirmed. . She loved Alabama Football and retired from Attalla Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, L. O Walley; parents, Hubert and Elizabeth Lee; sister, Fata Johnson; brother, Bill Lee; sister, Louise Wooten; and brother, Charles Lee.
Survivors include her children, Wayne (Angie) Thomason and Tony (Debra) Walley; grandchildren, Len (Traci) Thomason; Rocky (Leah) Thomason; Ric Thomason; Shea (Trey) Vasbury; Alexander "A.J." (Courtney) Walley; Mike (Keri) Monroe and Jarod (Mandi) Clark; great grandchildren, Hunter, Brianna, Mackenzie, Sade, Reese, Sam, Max, Jake, John Henry, Lauren, Riley and Karissa; brothers , Robert (Mildred) Lee; James (Diane) Lee and Richard (Sharon) Lee, several nieces, nephews and loving sisters-in-law; special friend, Melba Robinson and Family.
The family extends special thanks to the Staff at Gadsden Health Care Center.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Etowah County Humane Society.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
