Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 16th, 2017, at 2 p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel for Tina Richards Brown "Teen-Teen", 59, of Gadsden, who passed away Thursday, May 11th, 2017. The Rev. Daniel Barkley will officiate. Interment will be at Tillison Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.
Tina was a 1975 charter class graduate of Westminister Christian School. She retired after 29 years of employment with the Etowah County Board of Education, where she drove a school bus and worked in the lunchroom at Glencoe. She was an avid Alabama...

Tina was a 1975 charter class graduate of Westminister Christian School. She retired after 29 years of employment with the Etowah County Board of Education, where she drove a school bus and worked in the lunchroom at Glencoe. She was an avid Alabama and Glencoe Yellow Jacket fan. Her happiest days were spent with her grandchildren or out on the river fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Josephine Richards; brothers, Donnie, Johnny, and Steve Richards.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Pat Brown; son, Shane (Paige) Brown; daughter, Rebecca (Jeremy) Lankford; grandchildren, Cameron and Connor Brown, Baylor Langdale, Gracey, Carter, and Josie Mae Lankford; brother, Mike (Lisa) Richards; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved as her own; and her constant companion, Chloe.
Pallbearers will be Blake Richards, Matthew Richards, Jerry Richards, Zack Johnson, Ted Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Walter Staples, and John Kangelos.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Morris and Lester "Doc" Heard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Glencoe Fishing Team in honor of Tina. Donations will be accepted at any Regions (Gadsden) branch or can be mailed to 1405 Walker Drive, Glencoe, AL 35905, and made payable to "Glencoe Fishing Team".
The family would like to express a special thanks to family, friends, neighbors, Glencoe Fire Department, A-Med, Gadsden Regional Emergency Room, especially Dr. Augustin, Leslie Hoobler, and Heather Burton.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, May 15th, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
